For over two years I have enjoyed the complexities and strategy affiliated with the practice of intellectual property law. While studying for the patent bar, I worked as a court-appointed public defender. The court-room experience was priceless; however, I was very anxious to begin my career as a patent attorney. The first two years I practiced intellectual property law I founded my own firm, and worked with a large firm located in Cleveland, Ohio.

I currently do not have children, but understand that striking a balance between career and life at home is a necessity. I am a jeans and sports coat kind of guy and I highly enjoy personal relationships over materialistic objects.

My favorite saying is “the more you learn, the less you know.” As with Mr. Nipper, I highly enjoy astronomy and its ability to simplify issues on our planet, depending on your perspective. I love football (Go Lions, Go Wolverines, and Go Rockets!). My favorite destination is Denver Colorado, where my sister resides. If you have never been there, I highly recommend it. I’m a PC, for now. My hobby is playing guitar. I am self-taught and love Stevie Ray Vaughan. I am married to my best friend Suzanne and have a Chihuahua named Harley. My addictions are coffee and potato chips.
